This unit is designed to control and regulate an autonomous diesel water pump. The system can be remote controlled and configured via SMS using a common mobile phone. Furthermore the unit provides useful information about the status of the equipment. All the important measurement values, like water pressure, motor speed and motor temperature can be requested using the mobile phone. The control is able to generate alarm messages if the measured values exceed the adjustable limits.
It is possible at any time to start or to stop the motor of the water pump. The running time of the pump and the desired water pressure can be added to the start command.
A connected pressure sensor gives the control unit the information about the actual water pressure. So the control can regulate the speed of the motor in the way the desired pressure could be reached. The maximum speed of the motor can be limited to an adjustable value to avoid any damage. The speed of the motor is acquired using an inductive proximity switch.
All the electronic units and the connecting terminals for the external components are mounted in an industrial switch cabinet. The GSM antenna needed for the communication is mounted on the switch cabinet, so there is no additional wiring necessary. So overall it is an easy and comfortable to use system.
