The MiniMeteo weather station is vitally important for recording weather data in agriculture.
Using several sensors such as for air temperature, relative humidity, leaf wetness, precipitation, and dry and wet temperatures, measurements can be precisely collected by the RES05 data logger and transmitted to the cloud, where they can then be retrieved with an app or web application for graphical display or scab evaluation. The frost warning can either be sent via SMS and an alarm call to a smart phone (weather station with GPRS version) or with the help of the app in which an alarm value can be set not only for the wet temperature, but also for all other measurements. The weather station is powered via an integrated, hermetically sealed lead-acid rechargeable battery with a capacity of 12 Ah. It is charged via a photovoltaic module.
